Ran Mobile: Patch 1.6.8 Notes

Welcome to the v1.6.8 update notes for RMTMC! This patch implements comprehensive economy stabilization (Gold Burn mechanics), major UI/UX overhauls, the return of Auntie Marites, drop-table adjustments, and the debut of our highly anticipated experimental School War system. Read below for the complete breakdown.

💰 Economy Stabilization & Gold Burn Mechanics

To ensure a balanced in-game economy, a new tax structure and updated gold crafting costs have been deployed:

  • Player Trading Tax: 2% fee applied to direct player-to-player trades.
  • Player Vending Tax: 5% fee applied to marketplace vending transactions.
  • NPC Selling Tax: 3% fee applied when purchasing items from town vendors.

Updated Crafting Gold Costs

  • Fine Red / Fine White Essence: 25,000 Gold
  • Lux Red / Lux White Essence: 50,000 Gold
  • Armors & Weapons (Fine Red/White Grade): 150,000 Gold
  • Armors & Weapons (Lux Red/White Grade): 300,000 Gold

🏪 Auntie Marites Returns (Gold NPC)

Auntie Marites has officially returned to the server as a premium Gold Sink vendor and daily quest giver:

  • Available Items: Refines, Bus Card (Piece), Crazy Time Box (Piece), and Elemental Crystals are now purchasable via in-game gold.
  • Daily Quest: Complete her daily assignment to receive an Attendance Paper, used for logging your presence and claiming rewards on the official website.

⚠️ Experimental Feature: School War Public Test ⚠️

Help Us Test! An experimental iteration of our massive School War system is now live for public infrastructure testing. Please report any bugs or latency issues directly to the development team.

  • Schedule: Executes automatically every 6 hours.
  • Location & Entry: Head over to Channel 1 (available on both Alab & TMC Servers) and pass through the new Lobby Map entrance located at your respective School Campuses.
  • Entry Requirements: Level 100 or higher.
  • Victory Objective: The school that secures the highest collective kill count before the timer runs out wins the match.
  • Note: No items or currency rewards are distributed during this experimental test phase.

📱 UI & UX System Improvements

  • Safety Configurations: Added a dedicated Destiny Box Lock toggle button and integrated a clear pop-up confirmation warning message when dropping items from your inventory.
  • Social Enhancements: Added a direct "Whisper" quick-option shortcut inside the Friend list window.
  • Layout Cleanups: Removed the redundant "Sockets" button choice on item inspect cards, and fixed a visual bug plagueing the Inventory Costume/Equipment tabs.
  • Input Tracking Fixes: Resolved a critical input bug where active skill shortcuts would unintentionally shift or change when a player opened their inventory, interacted with an NPC, or opened a vending stall.
  • Visual Buff Readouts: Fixed the Character Info window to accurately track and reflect stat resistance totals provided by temporary class buffs.
  • General Refinements: Renamed the "SETTINGS" link button inside the Party Menu to "APPLY," upgraded target-lock indicators, modernized the Character Selection layout, optimized Chat Box rendering, and printed the active Game APK build version directly on the screen.

🎒 Equipment & Item Adjustments

  • Scorpion Weapon Costume: Now officially available inside a limited-edition Random Box obtainable via the Token Exchanger NPC.
  • Costume Dismantling: Legacy or expired Event Costume Boxes (now assigned a strict 30-day shelf life) can be salvaged and dismantled to yield Legacy Item Fragments for future crafting recipes.
  • New Character Perks: All newly created characters will now spawn with 5 pieces of Bus Cards packed into their starter sets, and the base stats on the Beginner's Hat have been buffed.
  • Inventory Scaling: Increased the maximum stacking limit for high-frequency items (Red Essence, White Essence, and Refine materials).

🗺️ World, Drop & Server Rules

  • Drop Migration: Removed Sphere 10 Fragments from the Prison drop pools and transferred them over to the Wharf map. Elemental Crystals have been entirely removed from general monster drops.
  • Economy Adjustments: Increased the base NPC selling value for Armors and Weapons found within Hole map zones.
  • Monster Densities: Added more monster spawns inside the Middle Hole sector to optimize leveling loops.
  • Zone Corrections: Fixed a critical PK Channel Bug where multiple combat zones were incorrectly configured as safe-zones.
  • [TMC Server]: Channel 3 is now officially configured as a PK-Enabled Channel.
  • [ALAB Server]: Club/Guild Wars have been officially activated and enabled across Channel 1.
  • Seasonal Cleanup: All Valentine's Day 2025 event assets, themed items, custom NPCs, and seasonal quests have been cleared from the game directory.

⚡ Class Balance & Performance Patches

⚠️ Experimental Engine Optimization

We are running a trial performance patch to drastically improve mobile GPU processing and reduce framing lag during massive wars. As a result, certain skill shaders, color outlines, and particle visual effects might appear different or temporarily vanish.

Class Ability / System Affected Patch Changes & Bug Fixes
🔮 Shaman Berserk Aura Increased overall damage values and utility scaling output.
🔮 Shaman Demon Spear Dance Fixed a broken animation locking glitch on the POW 127 Male character model.
🔮 Shaman Infernal Punishment / Enhanced Weaken Fixed damage calculation scaling anomalies and reinforced debuff effect values.
⚔️ Swordsman Metalbody Deployed a trial server-side fix to address disappearing or malfunctioning buff triggers.
🛠️ System Fix Kamikaze Skill Sphere Corrected a database error; the skill exchange condition now properly demands Sphere 9 instead of Sphere 8.
🛠️ System Fix Megaphone Broadcaster Resolved a critical system bug that mistakenly consumed two megaphone items per individual global shout.
