RAN MOBILE V2: EXPANSION I — OFFICIAL PATCH NOTES
The next generation of Ran Mobile: The Masterclass has arrived! Expansion I introduces a massive array of fresh end-game progressions, featuring a raised maximum level ceiling, the unveiling of the hostile Root Hole map layer, high-tier armor sets, and the long-awaited Level 147 Skill System. Alongside these features, we have heavily reworked INT-class combat formulas, added critical security Item Locking mechanics, and revamped character customization menus. ๐ Core Progression & New World Parameters
- ๐ Extended Level Cap: Break through your old boundaries! The maximum character leveling threshold has been raised to a strict Level 195 cap.
- ๐บ️ New Map: Root Hole: Access a brand-new high-level grinding sector. Entry requires your character to be at least Level 170 minimum.
- ☠️ World Raid Boss: Astral Swordsman: A hyper-lethal boss entity has breached the server. Assemble full raid squads before attempting to track its coordinates.
- ๐ก️ New Armor: Rock Set (Lvl 170): Premium high-defense protective gear is now drop-huntable from elite monsters within the new map zone.

Fourteen brand-new combat skills have been integrated into the server skill trees. Refer to the directory below to map out your builds:

๐ New Economy Guardrail: Item Locking System
To secure player assets against unauthorized account access and stabilize immediate trading market speculation, a protective time-lock constraint has been deployed:
⚙️ How the Item Locking System Operates:
- Baseline Lock Duration: Affected items carry a mandatory 24-hour lock period (86,400 seconds) upon acquisition.
- Online Processing Rule: The lock timer only counts down while your character is actively online. Logging off freezes the countdown.
- Allowed Actions: You can still fully use locked items normally (equip them, use refinement stones, apply stat scrolls, etc.).
- Restricted Actions: Locked items cannot be traded to other players or loaded into custom Vending Shops.
- PK Risk Warning: Be careful! Equipped locked items can still safely drop if your character is slain during open-world Player Killing (PK) encounters.
- Impacted Sources: Applies to items obtained from specific high-tier loot drops, along with select items processed via crafting, trading, or vending channels.
⚡ Combat Balance Shift: INT Skill Rework
๐ฅ Crucial Meta Notice: Int-based tracking attacks have been completely overhauled! INT skills will no longer miss targets as long as the target is within the skill's physical execution range.
Note: INT skills are still processed by the damage engine as physical calculation damage for now. This will remain until the upcoming Magic Defense system matrix is fully introduced in a future update. This layout modification will heavily impact the global PvP meta—adjust your stats accordingly.
๐ Advanced Inventory & Lifestyle Customization Systems
- ๐จ Hair Style & Color System: Supporters can now completely redesign their avatars using specialized Hairstyle Cards and Hair Color Cards to apply custom aesthetics.
- ๐ Hide Costume System: Want to showcase your baseline class armor silhouettes without losing your cosmetic bonuses? Drag a Hide Costume Card onto any equipped outfit to turn its visual layers invisible. To reverse this, simply apply a Remove Hide Costume Card.
- ๐ฆ Durational Item Stacking System: Clean up your inventory banks! You can now manually combine duplicate durational items (cards, outfits, temporary backpacks) to cleanly merge and extend their remaining expiration timers. Simply drag one card directly onto another matching asset.
๐ Global Item & Inventory Adjustments
- ๐ Level 147 Skill Scrolls: These new skill items are fully drop-huntable from monsters, but will carry a mandatory 3-month character-bound lock upon acquisition (completely non-tradable during this phase).
- ๐ฎ Oblivion E Card Update: The skill reset values have been upgraded to provide full support parameters for **Sphere 15 trees** (fully covering the new Level 147 skill branches).
- ๐ Refinement Stacking Limit: To reduce memory overhead within inventory database slots, maximum stack sizes for refinement stones have been lowered from **1,000 down to 50 items per slot**.
- ⚔️ Huntable End-Game Loot: Both the Steel Set armor pieces and high-performance Last Weapon variants have been integrated into open-world drops and are now fully huntable from elite monsters.
๐ ️ Quality of Life (QoL) General Improvements
- ๐ง Mail Box Sorting Filters: Added native interface sorting tags to the Mail System window, allowing you to instantly filter letters by Read, Unread, or Claimed item states.
- ๐ฅ Trading Hall Safezone Extension: Implemented a secure, non-combat Safezone barrier directly encompassing the central Trading Hall Nurse spawn coordinates.
- ๐ Character Renaming Interface Fix: Resolved a legacy layout error within the Name Change popup menu that incorrectly locked keyboard configurations onto an input numpad array.
- ๐บ️ Club War Graphics Fix: Adjusted opacity values across the Club War Map grid. Safezone perimeters are no longer masked in solid, pure black fields.
- ๐ง Resource Lock: Added a temporary lock onto the usage parameters for Luxury Red Essence and Luxury White Essence; these assets currently have no functional in-game usage.
๐งน Seasonal Cleaning: Retired NPCs & Mechanics
To make room for the Expansion content database structures, all legacy holiday zones, crafting blueprints, and special shops have been officially purged:
