Ubusan Lahi IV — Official 4v4 Mini Tournament Mechanics
Ready your squads and prepare for total campus dominance! Ubusan Lahi returns for its fourth installment. This highly competitive 4v4 format tests class synergy, fast-paced coordination, and raw tactical execution. Read the official rules, registration workflows, and recording mandates below to secure your team's entry spot.
📊 Tournament Format & Roster Compliance
To ensure competitive balance, all participating teams must strictly adhere to a locked, single-class composition matrix. Dual-classing or stacking the same archetype is strictly forbidden by the tournament engine:
- • Battle Mode: 4v4 Fixed Class System
- • Roster Composition: Exactly 1 Swordsman, 1 Brawler, 1 Archer, and 1 Shaman.
- • Level Requirement: All competing characters must be Level 130 or higher.
- • Bracketry Cap: Restricted to a strict maximum of 32 Teams across the tournament layout on a first-come, first-served registration basis.
📅 Campaign Timeline & Key Dates

| 🔒 Registration Closes | March 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM GMT+8 |
| ⚔️ Tournament Kickoff | April 11, 2026 (Detailed brackets released post-close) |
⚠️ Administrative Note: Slots are highly limited. Teams that submit incomplete data, violate class restrictions, or remain non-responsive during matching windows will be disqualified at admin discretion to clear space for standby teams.
🖥️ Challonge Registration Workflow
Team Captains (Leaders) carry full administrative responsibility for their roster's validation and setup paths on the bracket platform:
- Create Faction: Access the platform and initialize your official team entity profile.
- Roster Management: Send out registration links and invite all 3 active roster members to join your team hub inside Challonge.
- Name Verification: Double-check that every member registers using their exact, case-sensitive **In-Game Character Name** to prevent match invalidation.
- Lock-In: Fully submit and finalize your team profile before the March 31 deadline.
⚔️ Match Setup & In-Game Execution Rules
- 🗺️ Match Sheet Schedules: Prior to tournament day, a public master coordination spreadsheet will be published detailing your unique Match Number, Assigned Opponents, Map Placement, and strict Battle Deadlines (Link: TBA). Teams must audit this regularly.
- 🕹️ Combat System: All skirmishes must be initialized manually using the official in-game Party (PT) Duel System.
- ⏱️ Match Length Parameters:
- Every tournament match consists of a Best-of-3 Rounds series.
- Each round has a strict countdown limit of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
- 💬 Captain Coordination: Team Leaders must utilize the dedicated Challonge Match Chat window (Navigate to Brackets → Match Details → "Chat" Tab) to coordinate setup times with opposing captains. If both teams fail to communicate or hit deadlines, admins reserve the right to eliminate both squads.
📹 Mandatory Match Submission & Video Proof Protocol
To confirm authentic scoring and audit violations, BOTH Team Leaders must submit undeniable visual proof immediately following the conclusion of their match series:
📋 Submission Checklist for Captains:
- 1. Continuous Video Proof: You must capture raw, unbroken video recordings of the full match sequence from start to finish.
- 2. Scoreboard Screenshot: Capture a crisp screenshot of the final victory/defeat scoreboard frame overlay.
- 3. External Hosting: Due to platform file caps, upload your video files onto a public or unlisted streaming portal (such as YouTube Unlisted, Streamable, or equivalent hosting banks).
- 4. Bracket Update: Paste your external streaming links directly inside your Challonge match card, update your official scoreboard metric, and click "Attach link and Update Score" to close out the match loop.
⚠️ Violation Penalty: Submitting incomplete documentation, false reporting, or failing to upload videos will result in immediate match invalidation, default losses, or severe platform bans for the entire team profile.
💰 Official Server Prize Pool Matrix
A staggering cash prize pool of 45,000 PHP Total Value is up for grabs, allocated evenly at a flat 15,000 PHP per server partition. Rewards will be systematically processed and distributed once all regional brackets are fully resolved:
| Tournament Placement | Cash Reward (Per Server) |
|---|---|
| 🥇 Tournament Champions | 7,000 PHP |
| 🥈 2nd Place Runners-Up | 5,000 PHP |
| 🥉 3rd Place Finalists | 3,000 PHP |
📢 Special Remarks: Costumes & Destiny Boxes
A Note on Combat Consumables & Appearance Items:
Unlike previous 1v1 Balagbagan matches where costumes were disabled to prevent artificially drawn-out match pacing, Ubusan Lahi IV officially leaves Costumes and Destiny Boxes entirely up to Team Captain discretion.
Because the Hide Costume Card item exists natively within the game client, it is practically impossible for opposing squads to reliably verify visual armor lines mid-fight. Given that 4v4 party composition inherently guarantees faster, high-impact, explosive engagements, captains are free to strategize and deploy boxes or visual costumes as they see fit to support their tactical goals.
